Overview

Weatherford College, officially known as Weatherford College of the Parker County Junior College District, was established as a junior college in 1921, and is located in Weatherford, Texas. The cornerstone of the college was laid on July 5, 1869 at South Main and Lee Streets'corner in Weatherford.

The main campus covers nearly 90 acres in southeast Weatherford and the branch campuses are located in Mineral Wells and Decatur. It offers college courses leading to Associate of Arts degree as well as several high school courses granting high school diplomas.

Weatherford College also has several clubs and organizations for the overall development of the students. Stedman Graham, an American educator who served in U.S Army, is a notable alumnus of the college. WC has baseball and basketball teams.
