Weber State University is a public university located in the city of Ogden in Weber County, Utah, United States. It was established in 1889 by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The university offers professional, liberal arts, and technical certificates and associate, bachelor, and master degrees.

Weber State University is home to a student-run paper, The Signpost, and an FM radio station, KWCR-FM 88.1 WeberFM. Webster has an active Greek life with several fraternities and sororities including Delta Chi, Gamma Phi, and SAE.

Weber State University's sports teams participate in the NCAA Division I (I-AA for football) in the Big Sky Conference. They are nicknamed the Wildcats.
