Overview

Weill Cornell Medical College, also known as Weill Medical College of Cornell University, was founded on April 14, 1898. Initially, the college operated a medical school, and a psychiatric clinic. These two institutions merged in 1932 when the college became affiliated with what is now known as the New York-Presbyterian Hospital. The campus of Weill Cornell Medical College is located in New York, New York.

Weill Cornell Medical College offers a number of master's, and doctorate degrees which are offered through more than 20 departments, and concentrate on neurology, biochemistry, genetic medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, anesthesiology, biochemistry, urology, and ophthalmology.
