Overview

Wellesley College is located in Wellesley, Massachusetts, United States. The college was chartered in 1870 and opened in 1875. It was established by Henry Fowle Durant and his wife, Pauline Fowle Durant.

The college confers four-year baccalaureate degrees to students. Wellesley College is beautifully nestled in an area of nearly 500 acres.

Wellesley College offers more than 150 clubs and organizations for the overall development of the students. Some of them are Amnesty International, Anthropology Student Group, and Asian Baptist Student Koinonia. The college has numerous sports teams including volleyball, tennis, soccer, and field hockey.

Wellesley College has a diverse student body and more than 2,000 students who come from all states and over 60 countries.
