Overview

Wentworth Institute of Technology, WIT, was founded in 1904. It is a private, design and engineering college in Boston, Massachusetts. It enrolls more than 3,000 students each year of which over 70% are White non-Hispanic, more than 4% are Black non-Hispanic, and over 3% are Hispanic. WIT offers more than 10 bachelor's degree programs including computer science, architecture, and engineering.

WIT has an active student administration working for the overall development of the students. The college also offers career counseling and placement opportunities for its students. WIT’s campus is home to a variety of clubs and organizations including The Leopard Print (Student Newspaper), the Wentworth Internet Radio Experience (WIRE), and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers WIT Chapter.
