Wesley College Florence, located in Mississippi, is a private, co-educational, not-for-profit, Bible college. Wesley College traces its history back to 1944, when the Atlanta Bible College was reborn as the Dallas Bible School. In 1953, Westminster College in Tehuacana was acquired by the Congregational Methodist Church from the Methodist Protestant Church. After its relocation to Florence in 1972, the name of Westminster College was changed to Wesley College in 1976. Wesley College is also known as WC, or Wesley.
Wesley College offers certificates and bachelor’s degrees in subjects like Christian education, youth ministries, Christian counseling, pastoral ministries, Biblical literature, missions, and Biblical studies. The college campus sits on roughly 40 acres.
Wesley College has several on-campus clubs and organizations such as Alpha Chi Omega, Spiritual Warriors, The Student Government Association, Ensembles, and The Wesley Mission Fellowship. Financial assistance is also available. The athletic teams of WC are nicknamed the Wesley Warriors.
