Overview

West Kentucky Community and Technical College was established in 2003 after the consolidation of West Kentucky Technical College and Paducah Community College. The college is administered by the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. The college is organized into the following academic divisions:

  • Allied Health & Personal Services

  • Humanities, Fine Arts, & Social Science
  • Nursing
  • Science & Mathematics
  • Technical & Industrial

There are several student organizations and clubs at WKCTC. Some of these are the African-American Student Alliance, College Democrats, Baptist Student Union, Community Chorus, Phi Beta Lambda, Science Club, Visual Arts Club, Phi Theta Kappa and the Writers Club.

WKCTC offers several scholarship programs such as the KCTCS Commonwealth Scholarship, Presidential Scholarship, Academic Excellence Scholarship and the National Science Foundation Scholarships.
