Overview

West Suburban College of Nursing was established as the West Suburban Hospital School of Nursing in 1914. At that time, the college offered only a diploma nursing program. It began offering baccalaureate programs in 1982. The college was incorporated into the state on January 23, 1981 and is located in Oak Park, Illinois. The name of the college is often abbreviated as WSCN. West Suburban College of Nursing offers bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing and health informatics management.

West Suburban College of Nursing is home to many student organizations and clubs including the Student Government Organization. The college offers numerous scholarships to eligible students.
