Overview

West Virginia Junior College-Bridgeport is the branch campus of the West Virginia Junior College. WVJC was founded in 1892 as the Capitol City Commercial College. The main campus of WVJC is located in Charleston. The Bridgeport campus offers certificate and associate’s degree programs in medical assistance, business administration and computer information technology, among others. It also recently began conferring degrees in dental assistance, attracting more students. The institute offers both day and evening classes.

West Virginia Junior College-Bridgeport offers job placement assistance to its graduates. The college also offers financial aid in the form of federal grants, loans and scholarships.
