West Virginia State Community and Technical College, also known as WVSCTC, is a community college located in Institute, West Virginia, on the campus of West Virginia State University. It was established in 1953. The campus consists of more than 40 buildings that spread across an area of over 90 acres of land. The college offers over 20 degrees in more than 30 fields of study. WVSCTC also offers approximately 10 certificate degree programs and several other collegiate skill set certificates. It is organized into the following divisions:

  • Division of Allied Health and Human Services
  • Division of Business Studies
  • Division of Science and Technology

The WVSCTC has an active Greek life. The campus is home to honor societies such as Phi Theta Kappa Society, founded in 1918, and Sigma Phi Omega Delta Xi Chapter, founded in 1980.
