West Virginia University is a coeducational public research university in Morgantown, West Virginia. It was founded on February 7, 1867 by the West Virginia Legislature as the Agricultural College of West Virginia.

Room and Board

West Virginia University provides on-campus housing for 5,321 of its 27,016 (full-time) students (as of 2009-2010). The school requires freshmen to live on campus.

Students may purchase a meal plan which includes 19 meals weekly.

Athletics

School sports include football, basketball, baseball, and track. The school is in the Big East Conference for major sports.
