West Virginia University Institute of Technology, also known as Tech, WVU Tech, or West Virginia Tech, is located in Montgomery, West Virginia, United States. It was founded in 1895. The school was known as the Montgomery Preparatory School of WVU. West Virginia Tech is the largest regional campus under West Virginia University. The campus covers an area of approximately 200 acres. West Virginia Tech offers degree programs in science and technology through the following colleges:

WVU Tech AthleticsSchool sports include football, basketball, baseball, and track. WVU Tech is in the Mid-South Conference for major sports. WVU Tech offers financial aid for athletes.
