West Virginia Wesleyan College or the WVWC, was founded by the West Virginia Conference of the Methodist church in the year 1890. It is a private co-educational college of liberal arts; and is located in Buckhannon, West Virginia. The campus has over 20 major buildings spread across an area of nearly 100 acres. The College offers more than 40 majors and programs of study in various streams of study. The enrollment of WVWC consists of national as well as international student representing more than 30 states in the U.S and 25 countries worldwide.
West Virginia Wesleyan College maintains can active student life and is home to a large number of clubs and organizations. Some of them include Black Student Union, Engineering/Physics Club, International Student Organization, Student Athletic Trainers' Club, and Sociology Club. The Greek life of WVWC includes organizations like Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Phi Alpha, Alpha Gamma Delta, and Alpha Sigma Phi among others.
