Overview
The Western Dakota Technical Institute is situated in Rapid City, South Dakota. It is the only technical institute in western South Dakota. Associate's degrees and certificates can be obtained in diverse fields of study, including equine management, field engineering technology, law enforcement technology, practical nursing, business management and computer-aided drafting.
The Western Dakota Technical Institute offers a wide variety of clubs and organizations, including the Business Management and Marketing Career Enhancement Club, the Student Government Association, the Student Chapter of the Black Hills Home Builders Association, the Eagle Feather Society, the Industrial Electronics Club and SKILLS USA-VICA.
