Overview
Western Oregon University was founded in 1856. It is currently a public organization of liberal arts but was initially founded as a private college. It is situated in Monmouth, Oregon. The university offers bachelors and masters degree in numerous areas of study. Courses are also offered to international students. WOU is organized into the following academic divisions:
