Western Technical College, El Paso is a private co-educational technical college. The college is located in the El Paso, Texas and was previously known as the Western Wisconsin Technical College. The ‘Wisconsin’ part of the name was dropped on March 29, 2006. The institute offers a wide variety of programs such as microcomputer technology, health information technology, automotive technology and advanced welding, among others. The college offers associate’s degrees to its students.
Western Technical College provides students with a number of scholarships, including the Career Colleges and Schools of Texas Scholarships, the WTC High School Senior Scholarships and the Ford National Quality Care Challenge Scholarship, among others. The college’s career development center offers career counseling services through special ‘Employment Preparation’ classes.
