Overview

Western Texas College, also known as WTC, is located in Snyder, Texas, United States. The college boasts of an enrollment of over 2000 students per term. It offers an array of degree and certificate programs and is divided into various academic departments. WTC also offers several scholarship programs including the Western Texas College Scholarship Foundation, Mickey Baird Scholarship, Agricultural Scholarship, Calley Family Scholarship, Evelyn Claire McLaughlin Memorial Scholarship, and WTC Faculty Association Scholarship.

WTC provides students the opportunity to join its many student organizations and clubs. Some of these are the Baptist Student Ministries, Fellowship of Christian Cowboys, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Rodeo Club, and Church of Christ Student Ministries.

The men’s sports teams of WTC are known as the Westerners, and the women’s teams are nicknamed the Lady Westerners. They participate in a wide variety of sports including cross country, baseball, soccer, basketball, golf, softball, rodeo, track and field, and volleyball.
