Overview

Westminster College was originally founded as Fulton College in 1849. Established by the Presbyterians, the institute received its present name in 1851. This private liberal arts college occupies an 86-acre campus in Fulton, Missouri. More than 1,000 students from over 20 states and 40 countries enroll in Westminster College-Fulton every year.

Students at Westminster College-Fulton are offered over 30 majors, more than 30 minors and several pre-professional programs to choose from. The academic divisions of the institute are:

Westminster College-Fulton has an active Greek life, with the presence of fraternities and sororities like Beta Theta Pi, Delta Tau Delta, Kappa Alpha Order, Phi Delta Theta, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Sigma Chi, Kappa Alpha Theta and Kappa Kappa Gamma. There are also several other clubs and organizations, including the African Union, All-STARS Program, the Da Vinci Art Club, D.E.X., the Yoga Club and Young Life. The sports teams of the institute are nicknamed the Blue Jays.

Westminster College-Fulton has consistently appeared on the lists of the best colleges published by the U.S. News & World Report, The Princeton Review, Kaplan-Newsweek and The Washington Post. Forbes magazine also ranked the college 39th on its list of the 50 Best American Colleges in 2008.
