Overview
Westmoreland County Community College was established in 1970. The college is beautifully nestled in an area of around 80 acres in Youngwood, Pennsylvania and includes four buildings. In addition, the college operates education centers in New Kensington, Ford City, Export, Waynesburg, Indiana, Latrobe, Uniontown and Belle Vernon. WCCC offers a wide variety of degrees and certificate programs in diverse areas of study.
The Art Club, Cultural Awareness Coalition, Early Childhood Education Club, Phi Theta Kappa, Hospitality Club, Ski Club, Table Tennis Club, Sigma Alpha Pi, Student Government Association, Student Nurse Association of Pennsylvania, Student American Dental Hygienists Association, Horticulture Club and Reach Out Club are some of the student organizations and clubs of WCCC.
WCCC is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association. Its sports teams are known as the Wolfpack. They participate in a wide variety of sports like baseball, bowling, golf, basketball, volleyball and softball.
