Overview

Widener University- Delaware is a private, coeducational university located in Wilmington, Delaware. The college was established in this campus in 1976. The main campus is located in Philadelphia and another campus in Chester, Pennsylvania. The Delaware campus is spread across an area of 40 acres. It is organized into the School of Law along with the Legal Education Institute. Some classes for University College students and graduate business students are also held here. The School of Law provides graduate programs in nursing and social work along with other subjects.

Widener University has an active campus life. It has several groups, organizations, and clubs operating in the campus. Some of the clubs and organizations are Association of Black Social Workers, American Helicopter Society and Alpha Kappa Delta. The campus also has an active Greek life. Some of the fraternities are Alpha Tau Omega and Delta Phi.
