Widener University-Harrisburg Campus is one of the four campuses of Widener University. It is a private, not-for-profit, four-year, or above institute. The Harrisburg Campus is spread across an area of more than 20 acres. It was started in 1989. The campus contains the School of Law and offers graduate programs in nursing and social work.
Students at Widener University-Harrisburg Campus actively participate in the several fraternities and sororities in the campus. The campus also hosts several student clubs and organizations which include Criminal Justice Organization, Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance (FMLA), Widener University Ski and Snowboard Club, and Joining All Musicians (JAM). The athletic teams of Widener University-Harrisburg Campus are known as the Pioneers.
