Overview

Widener University, is a private, metropolitan university, with two campuses in Pennsylvania and Delaware. It was established in 1821 and is situated on an area of 110 acres within commuting range of the centre city Philadelphia. The university offers associate's, baccalaureate’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. Widener offers over 150 options in liberal arts and sciences and professional programs. It is organized into the following divisions:
