Wilberforce University is a private liberal arts and historically African-American university located in Wilberforce, Ohio. The college was founded in 1856. The University’s campus is spread across an area of 54 acres. It offers undergraduate and graduate programs in several subjects like mass media communications, social work and computer science.

WU has an active campus life. There are several academic and cultural clubs and organizations operating on campus, including the Poets Society, the New Mirror and Alpha Phi Alpha. The University also operates a campus radio station known as WURS, broadcasted at 97.5 F.M.
