Wiley College is a private, coeducational, historically black, four-year liberal arts college located in Marshall, Texas. It was established in 1873 by Bishop Isaac Wiley of the Methodist Episcopal Church. In 1882, it was certified by the Freedman's Aid Society. The college is one of the oldest historically black colleges west of the Mississippi river.
