Overview

Williams Baptist College is a four-year, private and coeducational college in Walnut Ridge, a town in the northeastern corner of Arkansas. Williams Baptist College was founded in 1941 as a two year school. In the 1980s it was authorized to award bachelor's degrees. It was known as Southern Baptist College till 1991 when it was renamed Williams Baptist College to honor its founder Dr. H. E. Williams.

Williams Baptist College offers academic and pre-professional programs in a variety of subject related to arts, science, law, healthcare, Christianity, education and business. It also supports intercollegiate athletics and fields teams for six varsity sports for the American Midwest Conference of NAIA. Williams Baptist College's athletic teams are nicknamed the Eagles and the Lady Eagles. The college is home to more than 20 student organization including social clubs, ministry and service organizations and academic societies.
