Overview

Williams College is a private, liberal arts college located in Williamstown, Massachusetts, United States. It was founded in the year 1793 and became coeducational in 1970. Williams is part of the historic Little Three colleges. The college includes three divisions which are humanities, sciences, and social sciences. Williams offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. The main campus spreads across an area of 450 acres.

Williams hosts several on-campus clubs and organizations based on the varied interests of the students. Some of the popular organizations are the Williams African Students Organization, Williams Community Building Program, Williams Competitive Eating Organization, and Musical Pedagogy Association.
