Overview

Williamsburg Technical College, WTC, is a postsecondary institute in Kingstree, South Carolina. The college initially started as the Williamsburg Regional Manpower Training Center in 1969. The name was changed to Williamsburg Technical, Vocational and Adult Education Center on January 31, 1975 and it was renamed Williamsburg Technical College in February 1979. The campus is spread across more than 40 acres. WTC offers associate’s degrees, certificate, and diplomas to students.

Williamsburg Technical College has the Student Government Association (SGA) to coordinate activities of students on campus. WTC’s library has a collection of over 100 periodicals, more than 25,000 printed volumes, and a variety of audiovisual resources such as CD-ROM, DVDs, kits, filmstrips, videocassettes and audiocassettes.
