Overview
Williston State College, WSC, was established in 1957. It was originally known as University of North Dakota-Williston. WSC is now a public college in Williston, North Dakota. It grants the Associate of Arts, and Associate of Applied Science degrees in agriculture, general and technical studies, entrepreneurship, marketing management, massage therapy, and nursing. A number of certificate courses and diploma programs are also available.
Williston State College supports a variety of on-campus clubs and organizations. Students are members of the Agri-Business Club, the Computer and Technology Club, the Astronomy Club, Skills USA, the Physical Therapist Assistant Club, the Student Nurses Organization, and the Student Senate. WSC also hosts the Phi Theta Kappa-Alpha Rho Iota Chapter. In addition, students publish an on-campus journal called "The Teton Echo".
