Overview

Wilson College was founded by Reverend James W. Wightman and Reverend Tryon Edwards in 1869. Named in honor of benefactor Sarah Wilson, this Presbyterian-related college for women is located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The campus is spread across 300 acres. Wilson College confers associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees in various fields of study. A number of certificates, and adult degree programs are also available. Students can choose from over 20 majors and more than 30 minors.

The student body of Wilson College includes candidates from over 20 states and 20 foreign countries. The college hosts more than 30 clubs and organizations including the Agape Christian Fellowship, Cheer Jocks, the Dressage Team, the Exercise and Sport Science Club, Friends of China, Kittochtinny Players, Orchesis, and the Wilson College Government Association. Among the student publications of Wilson College are "Billboard", "Bottom Shelf Review", and "Conococheague Yearbook".
