Overview

Winebrenner Theological Seminary, WTS, is located in Findlay, Ohio and was founded as a graduate school of theology in 1942. It was originally a part of Findlay College and became an independent and degree-granting institute in 1961. The Churches of God, General Conference founded the institute, which was named in honor of John Winebrenner. The seminary grants degrees at the bachelor's, master's and doctorate levels. Programs are available in religious studies, church development, divinity, theological studies, and Christian ministry.

Winebrenner Theological Seminary offers numerous endowed scholarships including the Calvin E. Buhrman Memorial Scholarship, the Dr. Harry and Betty Cadamore Memorial Scholarship, the Mary E. Hershey Memorial Scholarship, and the Vaughn E. and Owen V. Hall Family Scholarship.
