Overview
Wofford College, established in 1854, is a small liberal arts college located in Spartanburg, South Carolina, United States. The campus is spread across an area of 145 acres. The college is a member of the American Association of Botanical Gardens and Arboreta. Wofford offers a wide variety of academic majors in subjects including accounting, business economics, chemistry, computer science, chinese language and culture. It also offers several pre-professional programs.
Wofford College has an active Greek life. The campus hosts more than 12 chapters of national fraternities and sororities. There are also several student clubs and organizations in the campus. Some of the popular ones include the Senior Order of Gnomes, Pre-Ministerial Society, Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity, and Wofford Ambassadors.
