Overview
Worsham College is also known as the Worsham College of Mortuary Science. It is a private, two-year, for-profit institution located in Wheeling, Illinois. Albert Worsham established the college as the Worsham College of Embalming on March 17, 1911. The college offers a diploma program in mortuary science. It also offers an associate’s degree in applied science program. Practical training is provided to students in Worsham College’s well-equipped laboratories.
The Worsham College of Mortuary Science is home to organizations such as the National Funeral Directors Association, the American Board of Funeral Service Education and the Association for Death Education and Counseling.
