Overview

Wright State University, or WSU, is a public university located in Ohio, United States. It was originally established in 1964 as a Dayton branch campus of both Miami University and The Ohio State University. It was given the status of university by an act of the Ohio General Assembly in 1965. The university uses Dayton as its postal address, but the main campus is within the city limits of Fairborn.

WSU offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. It is organized into the following academic divisions:
