Overview
Yakima Valley Community College, founded in 1928 is also known as YVCC. The college has two campuses- Yakima Campus and Grandview Campus. It contains more than 10 learning Centers located in Ellensburg, Goldendale, and Toppenish. The college offers a variety of graduate programs as well as Distance Learning Programs of Study, and Adult Educational Opportunities.
YVCC provides a number of facilities and services to its students. It has an active student administration that helps in economic development and enhances the social and cultural life of the students. It organizes a number of events, workshops and awareness camps and is home to several clubs and communities. Some of them are the Action Club, the Image Makers Club, the Justice Club, and the Voice Club.
