The Yeshiva University, established in 1886, is located in New York, NY. The university started as the Etz Chaim Yeshiva, which was founded in 1886. Today the university comprises of around 20 colleges, several schools, institutions, and affiliates. The Yeshiva University's recent enrollments have been more than 3,000 undergraduate and 3,000 postgraduate students. The University has six campuses in New York and another one in Israel. The sports teams of the university are nicknamed as The Maccabees. The men’s teams participate in sports such as golf, wrestling, soccer, basketball, soccer, tennis, and volleyball. The women’s teams compete in cross country, fencing, basketball, and tennis. The students are also associated with organizations such as Cognitive Neuroscience Society, Linguistics Association of Great Britain, American Public Health Association, and Brunswik Society.
