Overview

York Technical College is a public, two-year, associate degree-granting institution located in Rock Hill, South Carolina, United States. The college was originally established in 1964 as York County Technical Education Centre. The college is a unit of the South Carolina Technical and Comprehensive Education System. York Technical College offers associate degrees in several areas of study. It also offers diplomas and certificates in vocational, technical, and occupational programs.

The college's annual student-run publication is "The Student Calendar." It is published online and includes a calendar of events. The campus hosts several student clubs and organizations including Beta Gamma Chapter of Sigma Kappa Delta, American Criminal Justice Association, Alpha Beta Gamma, and Association of Computing Machinery.
