"I have a lot of great memories of my time at Harding. As long as you can stand the rules there, it's a really great place with a lot of great people."

Would Recommend?yesHarding is a great school. You'll get a great education and make a lot of great memories.
Program Reputation10Employers seem to love Harding grads. The business program at Harding is one of the most well-known programs there, probably second to Bible and Nursing.
Program Quality9Harding has a great program. The professors are very knowledgeable, and since class sizes are small, you actually get to know the professors and the other students well. Employers always seem happy to hire Harding grads.
Instruction8I learned a lot at Harding. My only criticism is that I think we were all prepared for careers in public, but not to do anything else. I don't think anyone was prepared for a career in private - and a lot of my cohorts did take G/L positions!
How Difficult5I don't think our workload was harder or easier than anywhere else. Our capstone project for Cost Accounting was the hardest project I've ever done in school, but otherwise, there was never anything I couldn't handle.
Hands-On vs. BookishI think there's a really good mix. It really depends on the professor, but for the most part, you spend your time outside of class getting the foundation you need reading the book, and your time in class applying it to the real world.
Schedule Flexibility4There are a few evening classes, but only for lower-level options. I did take one intersession course, and there are a couple summer options. I think there is a lot of room for growth here.
Academic Facilities10The facilities were OK while I was there. They just did a big renovation. I haven't been back to see it, but I hear it is spectacular.
Social Life10Harding is an extremely social campus! It is a highly residential campus and there is ALWAYS something going on!
Placement Services8The Career Center there is really helpful to students, with career fairs and helping set up interviews. They helped me land my first position out of school.
Alumni Network9The Career Center is an excellent resource for alumni. They have also very recently opened an alumni networking center specifically for the College of Business alumni, which I think will prove really useful for staying in touch.

"I wouldn't have any other school. To me, UCA is the best school in the entire state of Arkansas."

Would Recommend?yesUCA, to me, provides everything that a young student would need to succeed in college. It is a school that is devoted to bettering the experience of everyone that attends there. It combines the 'big-college' lifestyle with the charm of a smaller school for something that is truly special.
Program Reputation9UCA as a whole is in the top 3 colleges in the state as far as growth. The College of Business has a reputation as being hard-working and also as being a trailblazer in Central Arkansas.
Program Quality9I think that my school is among the best in the state for business and accounting. They boast a new state of the art college of business building which helps all students do their best.
Instruction9The staff at the business college is superb. They are committed to excellence and work hard to make sure each and every student has all they need to succeed.
How Difficult9I would say that accounting for me was difficult to learn at times. At the same time, I was taking over 15 hours a semester, but the subject matter can be rough in and of itself.
Hands-On vs. BookishI would say that there is about as much hands-on as there is book learning. Depending on the course, students will be instructed straight from the book by the professor, then 'turned loose' to apply what they learned. For example, UCA has a course that teaches students to create apps for phones. They learn the 'theory' behind it and then get to program themselves.
Schedule Flexibility7There are classes to fit every type of schedule. UCA has fall, spring, summer, and online classes. There really is something for everyone.
Academic Facilities10UCA boasts a completely wireless campus as well as programs that provide students with laptops if they qualify. The school goes above and beyond in supplying students with any tool they might need.
Social Life9The social experience at UCA is top-notch. There's something for everyone on campus, represented in student-interest groups, sororities, and fraternities. The student body is also very active in supporting our athletes.
Placement Services9The job-placement is very good. Most students in the accounting program either have a job lined up before graduation or easily find employment within weeks afterwards.
Alumni Network10The alumni network is outstanding. Most alumni are able to keep in touch with others and find ways to further their careers through UCA's network.
