Would Recommend?yesIt is a small college that allows for individual attention. Also, it is right on the water and has its own beach, which allows for beautiful views and plenty of fun.
Program Reputation6Mitchell College is a small New England college, so it isn't widely known about. However, the instruction was great.
Program Quality8The professors I encountered were helpful and friendly. The facilities at my school were somewhat lacking.
Instruction9Many professors were current or previous professionals in the field. All of my professors seemed prepared for all instruction.
How Difficult9There was a lot of memorization when it came to GAAP. At first, accounting seemed like a different language altogether.
Hands-On vs. BookishThe school used an online interactive site to test much of our knowledge.
Schedule Flexibility3Classes are cancelled if there aren't enough students. Classes can also fill up fast.
Academic Facilities2The library is very small. It can be very difficult to find a computer that is available for study.
Social Life4Social events rival children's birthday parties. Athletics have a good following, but are unorganized.
Placement Services9School ended up basically providing this job for me. They constantly send out new job openings.
Alumni Network6They inform me of many athletic events, as I was an athlete for my school. They only seem to invite me to other events when they want donations.
