"I am extremely satisfied. Overall I had a great experience here. I hope to keep in touch with my professors and classmates, and be able to give back soon."

| Would Recommend? | yes | I would definitely recommend my school to others in accounting/auditing. The school has opened doors for my future, so I expect it would do the same for others too. |
| Program Reputation | 9 | GW has a very good reputation for its masters business program. The school has a lot of connections with high-powered businesspeople and very successful professors that it employs. |
| Program Quality | 10 | GWU offered a wide variety of courses to take for electives as well as for required classes. Also, the school's located in a great city that has so many opportunities for internships, full-time jobs, volunteering, etc. I really enjoyed my time spent there. |
| Instruction | 10 | The curriculums were excellent, and I feel very well prepared for the CPA test, which I will be sitting for in the upcoming year. I learned a great deal, and all of my professors had so much experience in their fields, so I got a lot out of the classes because of all the practical education I received as well, in addition to the technical stuff. |
| How Difficult | 8 | I wouldn't say that the work load was particularly strenuous. Furthermore, I didn't find the course work overly challenging. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | I would rate it slightly more towards hands-on learning because we certainly did focus on the book stuff (reading, book exercises), but we also did have class presentations, group projects, etc. They say that GWU stands for "Group Work University". | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 10 | GW's class schedules were very flexible when I was there. They offered mostly evening classes for the masters students, but there were also online options, summer offerings, and a few weekend classes but not many. |
| Academic Facilities | 9 | Professors were very accessible. The library, classrooms, and study group rooms were all in very nice shape, but during exam times there wasn't quite enough table space in the main library for everyone who wanted a table. |
| Social Life | 7 | Since I was in the masters program, my social experience wasn't exactly comparable to the undergrad social experience, which is why I gave it a 7. I think the focus is different at the masters level. That said however, there were plenty of opportunities for social events - basketball games, kickball games, outdoor events, etc. |
| Placement Services | 9 | Career services were very helpful with resumes, interview practice, and anything else you'd ask of them. Also, job placement is very high out of my program (masters of accountancy). I got a job through my school actually (through a connection with one of my professors). |
| Alumni Network | 9 | From what I've seen of it, GWU has an exceptional alumni network, with about 250,000 alumni out there. I haven't gotten all that involved with alumni activities and events yet, but I definitely intend to. |

"GW is an exciting school. It's in the middle of DC, so it's very connected with the real world. The college "bubble" that so many people talk about really seems to be far less of an issue at GW."

| Would Recommend? | yes | Absolutely! I learned a lot at George Washington and am at the job I'm at now because of connections I made with professors there. I would recommend it to others in the field of accounting & auditing. |
| Program Reputation | 8 | I think GW's reputation for its grad programs is better than its reputation for undergraduate programs. But overall, pretty good rep. |
| Program Quality | 10 | George Washington was fantastic. The professors were engaging and made class interesting. The class offerings were excellent - there was a lot to choose from. Overall, I loved it. |
| Instruction | 10 | The professors had diverse backgrounds, and I was glad I was able to learn so much about the real working world through them. I felt very prepared for my career. We did a lot of group work and presenting in class to get us ready for work. |
| How Difficult | 8 | The work load was pretty hefty. However, I actually didn't think it was as challenging as my undergraduate program (Accounting at Lehigh University). |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | There was a good deal of work assigned out of the book. However, there were also a lot of group projects, presentations, discussions, and other things of that nature. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 10 | I was able to schedule all my classes at evening times so that I could work during the day while going to school. The summer offerings allowed for pretty good flexibility. |
| Academic Facilities | 10 | Brand new Business building with computers that were in great shape. Professors were very accessible, and if you needed to meet with them, they were flexible in making it happen. |
| Social Life | 8 | It seemed to me that there was a huge gap between undergrad and grad students; however this is to be expected most everywhere. As a grad student, I was a bit removed from the social aspects of GW. However, from what I could see, the social environment was pretty good. |
| Placement Services | 9 | I had a very good experience with the career center at GW. They really go out of their way to make sure you get the help you seek. |
| Alumni Network | 9 | I always get emails from the alumni group at my school. It appears they are doing a lot to try and keep people connected. |
