"I was very satisfied with the school, particularly how flexible the school was to work with my schedule. I don't think I could have made it if they were not willing to work with my work schedule."

| Would Recommend? | yes | I would recommend anyone in the Air Force attend the Community College of the Air Force and pursue at least their associate's degree before separating from the military. Overall, it was a positive experience and they are very flexible. |
| Program Reputation | 5 | I would rate it as average. The degree program I chose was specific to aerospace maintenance, which is really useful for one work field: The airline industry. |
| Program Quality | 7 | Community College of the Air Force is a fantastic school to attend and was very flexible with one's work schedule while on active duty. In addition, it was a great help that prior military training completed was eligible to earn college credits towards my degree. |
| Instruction | 7 | Quality of education received was really good, as the Community College of the Air Force works with local private and state colleges to offer courses. The exposure to various professors at differing levels was invaluable. |
| How Difficult | 6 | The associate's degree I completed required mainly general education courses, which were basic/average difficulty. Some focused courses were taken, which were more difficult; however, I would add that the level of difficulty is directly related to the quality of the teacher. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | Seemed most courses were driven by materials presented in books, rather than actual hands-on experience. Would like to have seen more hands on. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 8 | Courses and teachers were very flexible with schoolwork. Oftentimes, work required us to stay after the "end of day," which may cause absence in school attendance. Teachers and school were very accommodating and understanding. |
| Academic Facilities | 6 | Community College of the Air Force leverages local schools' libraries, and in some cases, facilities. While there were classrooms held on the base itself, they were in average condition. Courses attended at local college campuses were much better. |
| Social Life | 5 | Seemed like everyone was attending for the same purpose, which was to complete their degrees. Social interactions were limited, as courses were attended at nighttime. |
| Placement Services | 5 | Community College of the Air Force did not have a comprehensive job placement program. However, information was provided on the general Air Force transition assistance program (TAP), which was very good. |
| Alumni Network | 3 | Community College of the Air Force does not really have an alumni. Alumni programs are offered through local colleges that work with CCAF, but are more geared towards full-time students of those colleges and not those attending via CCAF. |

| Would Recommend? | yes | I feel my school was one of the best I could have attended for business careers. They are very goal oriented and pass that on to you as a student. I would recommend my school to anyone who wishes to get into a business career. |
| Program Reputation | 9 | People around the area know that this is a business school and if you are going to be in a business career that you should go to this college. People also feel that this school has a good reputation based on big business recruiting from them on a yearly basis. |
| Program Quality | 10 | The school is a business focused school with professors that are very knowledgeable about the fields. They also have a great recruiting system to help graduates find careers. |
| Instruction | 9 | Each professor takes the time to explain the course material in depth to give you a great understanding of the material. The classes are small which allow for one on one assistance if needed. Also, most of the professors work within the field they teach and can give real life situations to relate to the material being thought. |
| How Difficult | 7 | The work load for my degree was average in that I knew what I was getting into before I started from meeting with my counselor. The academic challenge was challenging at times but you could work through it with help from the professors. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | Depending on the professor, you most likely will have a hands on approach to learning your program. Many professors bring in people from different career fields and work with them to give students projects that are relevant to their program. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 8 | They offer accelerated courses and the traditional 16 week courses. They also offer summer and winter sessions to help you achieve your degree in a timely manner. They also offer night classes, which is great for someone who has to work full time and go to class. |

| Social Life | 9 | They offer many events throughout the year. They have a good athletics program that is involved with the school and its students. They also try to provide activities between classes, such as a pool table and other games, to help pass the time between classes. |
| Placement Services | 8 | They have a job fair every spring to help students find jobs in their career paths. They also work with businesses in the area to help them recruit employees. |
| Alumni Network | 8 | They have a great program that mails out quarterly newsletters to your home to keep you posted on what's going on. They also allow you access to the website functions so that you can use their recruiting system. |
