"The instructors taught me things that I could use in the real world and were happy to share that knowledge. That sharing has served me well over the years."

| Would Recommend? | yes | The campus is small, the students are friendly and the education is top-notch. The school excels at attracting a diverse community and is welcoming. It is an excellent choice. |
| Program Reputation | 8 | We have an excellent reputation for our business department. The school is known not only at the local level and the regional level, but ranks high on the national level as well. |
| Program Quality | 8 | The university helped me with my accounting background and the training that I now use in my current position. They were supportive and provided first-rate technology to teach me properly. |
| Instruction | 8 | I had very good instructors who gave great direction at showing not only the bigger picture, but the minutiae of daily work. There were many opportunities to learn in and out of the classroom. |
| How Difficult | 7 | The university did not hand the degree to you; you were expected to work. The classes were small and the coursework was varied. There was much attention given to the students by the professors. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | The university provided many work-study opportunities as well as internships in a variety of fields. The smallness of the school allowed the professors to be able to monitor the students as they progressed. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 7 | The flexibility has grown over the years, with summer school being the option when I went there, to now evening, online and year-round schooling being available. The school has adapted to the times and kept pace with what the people need. |
| Academic Facilities | 8 | The dean of the business school knows how to network and get funds. The business school has garnered many millions in order to provide a top-notch business school. |
| Social Life | 6 | The school is on the small side and located in a relatively small town. The social scene tends towards outdoorsy activities and the bar scene. Greek Life is not played up in our school, though they do have a program. |
| Placement Services | 8 | As I mentioned previously, the school has national ranking for a number of its programs. This ranking attracts many companies that would not ordinarily go so far afield. There was great diversity in who came to our school to recruit. |
| Alumni Network | 8 | We had top-notch facilities and we had caring instructors. Opportunities were abundant in and out of the classroom, to learn and to use what we had already learned. |

Studying Criminology (completion in 2010)

"I enjoyed my time there. The small atmosphere and knowledge of the professors really helped enhance the learning experience."

| Would Recommend? | yes | I would tell others that this university is an ideal place to learn about criminology. The professors have extensive connections in the private sector and are willing to help students get set with an internship. |
| Program Reputation | 9 | This is a small, private university that prides itself on the family-style atmosphere. It also provides students with a world-class education. |
| Program Quality | 10 | Small school with great professors. The 8-week course offerings made getting a master's degree much easier. |
| Instruction | 10 | They were all PhD professors who have worked or are working in the field. |
| How Difficult | 8 | The 8-week format of the courses made the homework challenging, but not overwhelming. I preferred the difficulty of the work, so I felt like I was getting my money's worth. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | We were taught by experts in the field and PhD professors who have extensive community ties. The professors also used a combination of hands-on learning, such as creating a project, to book learning in a survey-style course. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 8 | The courses I took were one night a week, and every 8 weeks started a new semester. If you missed the first 8 weeks of a course offering, then you knew that the course would be offered again on a regular schedule. |
| Academic Facilities | 7 | Excellent library resources. Access to criminal databases and SPSS, a critical program for use in statistics class. |
| Social Life | 8 | The school prides itself on being a family and provides a unique one-on-one experience, even while being a medium-sized campus. They know you by name and take great pride in that. |
| Alumni Network | 6 | They try to keep in contact with students. There is not follow up. |

"I was very satisfied with my school. I enjoyed the small class sizes and the friendships with teachers that I had. I also enjoyed the football program and other athletics."

| Would Recommend? | no | If someone was going to school specifically for a business degree, I would push them to attend another school. If they were going for the overall college experience and didn't like "big" colleges, I would tell them to attend the college I went to. |
| Program Reputation | 5 | I think that our school was just an average school, because of the location and size. We did not have many business professors, and many of the professors had never had real-world business experience. |
| Program Quality | 5 | The school that I attended was a small school in a small city, and I believe that it is just an average school. The business department only had 3 full-time teachers, and none of them were very hard (in my opinion). I am not the smartest guy and I was able to get just under a 4.0 GPA in my degree classes (I am not a 4.0 student). |
| Instruction | 6 | I loved the teachers that I had and thought that the instruction was above average. It's just not extremely good, because I don't think they had real-world business experience and the assignments were pretty easy - nothing too strenuous. |
| How Difficult | 4 | The business program was pretty easy. There were not huge projects to complete all the time. I know of other business majors at other universities that had a much harder workload and more challenges. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | Our hands-on experience was pretty low. I don't ever remember doing anything really hands on. I had a couple classes in which I was able to do learning on field trips, etc., but not many at all. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 8 | I thought the scheduling was very flexible. I took many online classes and night classes. I was actually able to take an online class over the summer, while I was home in California for summer break. |
| Academic Facilities | 7 | I thought our facilities were pretty good. We had access to online databases and libraries, and there was always plenty of classroom space. I would say there was really no peer tutoring or tutors, but our teachers could be easily accessed for tutoring and questions - teachers were helpful. |
| Social Life | 8 | I loved the social aspect at my school. I played on the football team and had many friends. I loved going to parties and hanging out with fellow teammates. We also had pretty good social events. |
| Placement Services | 2 | I had never even heard of such a program to even exist on our campus. But I am sure that the teachers would have helped in any way they could have. We knew our teachers well and could have asked them for this kind of help. |
| Alumni Network | 5 | Not sure how we stack up with other similar schools, so I rated it average. I can only think of one time when one of the business department alums came to our class to speak. |

"It's perfectly fine for someone looking for an online degree that is inexpensive. I think they could do more for their online and out-of-state students."

| Would Recommend? | maybe | If they improve their practicum program, I would recommend it. Until then, I would tell others to consider other options. |
| Program Reputation | 8 | The program advertises itself quite well and they are very good at getting people interested in the program. I would say some of what they advertise is not accurate. |
| Program Quality | 2 | I haven't been very impressed by the program. I have had a terrible experience with the school and also with my department. I'm glad to be getting my degree, but I wouldn't recommend it to others. |
| Instruction | 3 | Since I have been in the museum profession for several years, the program is basically just to give me a better job title. Now that I've moved into administration, my degree will probably not help me much. |
| How Difficult | 2 | The coursework was extremely easy, but my practicum has been difficult to schedule and complete in a timely fashion. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | Some classes have been very "real world," which I really appreciate. Most of the others have been, "read a website, write a paper." | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 10 | I have done all of my coursework online. This allows for great flexibility throughout the year. |
| Academic Facilities | I've done all of my work online. It is difficult to assess their resources, since I haven't used any of them. | |
| Social Life | I'm an online student. It is quite difficult to have a school social life when living in another state. | |
| Placement Services | 1 | My school has not offered me any assistance in trying to find a job. This might be because I currently have a job that I love. |
| Alumni Network | 1 | I have never heard anything about my graduate school's alumni program. I don't know if I would want to connect with the alumni anyway. |
