CharacteristicRatingComment
Would Recommend?yesIt is one of the best schools in the area, and it is the only school in the area offering my program at the undergraduate level. It is a nice school and program with a lot of community support.
Program Reputation10It is highly reputable. We have a lot of community support from the local health care facilities.
Program Quality10We are one of the only schools with this as an undergraduate major. The school is highly accredited, so it is very reputable.
Instruction8The professors are always willing to help students. They offer office visits or the option to call them for help.
How Difficult8There was a lot of reading. We also did a lot of hands on work and projects as well as presentations.
Hands-On vs. BookishIt was a good mix of both. We did a lot of projects working with local facilities and we also did a lot of reading to help us understand things that cannot be explained as well.
Schedule Flexibility10It is extremely flexible. USD offers many night and online classes to cater to the non-traditional and busy students.
Academic Facilities10USD has built a lot of new buildings lately. They are very modern and have a lot of useful additions.
Social Life2I lived at home with my parents while I went to school. I commuted daily, so I didn't have much social interaction outside of class.
Placement Services5I'd give it an average rating. There are people to assist you with finding jobs and there are several career fairs every year.
Alumni Network5The alumni are always asked to donate money. The only people who stay networked are the organizations and clubs.
