"It is okay. I think it could be a little better, though."
Ratings are on a 1-10 scale

| Would Recommend? | maybe | I think there are many other online schools that might be better. I am thinking of switching schools. |
| Program Reputation | 4 | I guess the reputation is good. I do not know anyone else that has gone there. |
| Program Quality | 5 | My school is online so it is kind of hard to keep up, but on the other hand it is very conveniant. |
| Instruction | 6 | My instruction was okay. It was not good and it was not bad. |
| How Difficult | 4 | I find it to be pretty easy. There are a lot of boring classes, though. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | There is no hands on work. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 9 | It is extremely flexible. I can log on whenever I want to. |
| Academic Facilities | 5 | Everything is online. |
| Social Life | 3 | There is not much of a social experience at my school since it is online. |
| Placement Services | 3 | My school does not provide job placement. |
| Alumni Network | 4 | I do not think they have a great support system at all. If I have a question regarding school it takes them almost a week to get back to me. |

"I had a great experience at the school. I just wish it was a little more affordable, but it was a private school."
Ratings are on a 1-10 scale

| Would Recommend? | maybe | It's a great school, but most administrative assistants (and teachers) don't make a ton of money. If someone could afford it, the experience was definitely worth it, but there are a lot of other options. |
| Program Reputation | 9 | The job placement for education majors from Jewell is in the 90% rate. All students pass their Praxis tests to get their teacher's license. |
| Program Quality | 8 | I felt well-prepared for teaching. Until I moved to Kansas with my husband, I had jobs that I enjoyed and was successful at. |
| Instruction | 8 | Certain professors were a little out-of-date, but they have since retired. I enjoyed and learned from almost all of my professors and the curriculum they presented. |
| How Difficult | 7 | In addition to class time, there was a great deal of out-of-class work. We were required to spend large amounts of time in area schools observing and teaching. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | There were a lot of application opportunities for education students, but there was also a lot of theory. That seemed consistent across the various departments. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 3 | Because the school was smaller, classes were only offered during particular semesters, so the schedule had to be very rigid. I had conflicts with classes several semesters. |
| Academic Facilities | 9 | There were public computer labs in every class building as well as the library. There was also a free tutoring center on campus that helped with writing skills and test taking. |
| Social Life | 8 | There were a lot of school organizations, Greek life, and school sponsored events. There were also events that took students into Kansas City. |
| Placement Services | 9 | Any alumni can use the career services department for assistance with resume creation and applications. Also, the school hosts alumni job fairs for area students. |
| Alumni Network | 9 | The education department sends out regular emails and hosts a job fair every year. If I lived in the area, I would certainly be able to get some assistance. |
