Would Recommend?maybeI think there are many other online schools that might be better. I am thinking of switching schools.
Program Reputation4I guess the reputation is good. I do not know anyone else that has gone there.
Program Quality5My school is online so it is kind of hard to keep up, but on the other hand it is very conveniant.
Instruction6My instruction was okay. It was not good and it was not bad.
How Difficult4I find it to be pretty easy. There are a lot of boring classes, though.
Hands-On vs. BookishThere is no hands on work.
Schedule Flexibility9It is extremely flexible. I can log on whenever I want to.
Academic Facilities5Everything is online.
Social Life3There is not much of a social experience at my school since it is online.
Placement Services3My school does not provide job placement.
Alumni Network4I do not think they have a great support system at all. If I have a question regarding school it takes them almost a week to get back to me.

"I had a great experience at the school. I just wish it was a little more affordable, but it was a private school."

Would Recommend?maybeIt's a great school, but most administrative assistants (and teachers) don't make a ton of money. If someone could afford it, the experience was definitely worth it, but there are a lot of other options.
Program Reputation9The job placement for education majors from Jewell is in the 90% rate. All students pass their Praxis tests to get their teacher's license.
Program Quality8I felt well-prepared for teaching. Until I moved to Kansas with my husband, I had jobs that I enjoyed and was successful at.
Instruction8Certain professors were a little out-of-date, but they have since retired. I enjoyed and learned from almost all of my professors and the curriculum they presented.
How Difficult7In addition to class time, there was a great deal of out-of-class work. We were required to spend large amounts of time in area schools observing and teaching.
Hands-On vs. BookishThere were a lot of application opportunities for education students, but there was also a lot of theory. That seemed consistent across the various departments.
Schedule Flexibility3Because the school was smaller, classes were only offered during particular semesters, so the schedule had to be very rigid. I had conflicts with classes several semesters.
Academic Facilities9There were public computer labs in every class building as well as the library. There was also a free tutoring center on campus that helped with writing skills and test taking.
Social Life8There were a lot of school organizations, Greek life, and school sponsored events. There were also events that took students into Kansas City.
Placement Services9Any alumni can use the career services department for assistance with resume creation and applications. Also, the school hosts alumni job fairs for area students.
Alumni Network9The education department sends out regular emails and hosts a job fair every year. If I lived in the area, I would certainly be able to get some assistance.
