CharacteristicRatingComment
Would Recommend?yesYes, the school provides options and a very good network, especially for computer science students. There are many job opportunities after graduation and many internship opportunities as well.
Program Reputation5Not much of a reputation, but the university itself is hoping to boost up its ranking.
Program Quality7The faculty members are very helpful. Further, the program offers practical projects where students gets experience in dealing with real world problems and clients.
Instruction7The curriculum is changed from time to time to address the requirements of the job market.
How Difficult7The work load is a bit much for a grad students. The amount and quality expected is very high.
Hands-On vs. BookishIt's actually a mix, in that some course focus on hands on training and some on books only.
Schedule Flexibility5I haven't had many issues with class schedules, and other students don't seem to have problems either. It comes comes down to how flexible your professor is.
Academic Facilities8The lab facilities are pretty good with 24/7 computer lab access. However, the library doesn't have many of the books and papers needed for assignments. There is an interlibrary loan for obtaining research papers.
Social Life8Very good. There are lot of start of semester and summer activities, especially during the holidays with barbecues and kick off parties. Further, they also help during finals week with snack stations everywhere for students.
Placement Services8They hold 2-3 job fairs and apart from that, allow students to participate in tri-college job fairs in the area.
Alumni Network6Since I am a student currently doing my masters, I don't know much about the alumni network. However, I heard the alumni support is good, inviting students for job fairs, etc.
