Program Reputation8Our school holds a high reputation for training well versed students in the area of computing. I selected this school because it was the best around.
Program Quality8For the most part I really enjoyed all the courses I completed. There were a few topics I wish were covered in greater detail.
Instruction7As in most educational systems, the theory behind your degree is emphasized, but not the practice. I do wish there was more material covered that is currently being used in today's industry.
How Difficult6I feel as though the professors provided adequate explanations and a clear understanding as to the topic of choice. The homework was long, but not difficult.
Hands-On vs. BookishMost of my courses had projects or a lab. This provided a good balance between course work and hands-on learning.
Schedule Flexibility2The courses are in a set schedule. There isn't any room to change or take a course at a different time.
Academic Facilities10Our facilities were very beneficial to me. We have a great library, in the department and on campus. The advisers always have their doors open and the professors are always willing to assist their students.
Social Life7There are many activities provided on campus for students to become involved with. They also have several clubs and other events to mingle in.
Placement Services6Job placement services could use some help. I found that I could have used further help in locating my first internship.
Alumni Network8Our school does a fantastic job at keeping their alumni in the loop. They send out information as to the recent changes to the school and also call their alumni to keep them up to date.
