CharacteristicRatingComment
Would Recommend?noA more specialized school would have been better. A business major would have given me an advantage.
Program Reputation5It is not a premier major at the school. The school does not carry much clout.
Program Quality6The degree was geared more toward professional writers. The background and skills learned are valuable when writing reports.
Instruction5The courses were adequate to meet the needs of this job. Some business courses would have been beneficial.
How Difficult5It was not very demanding, but quite time consuming. A variety of courses were available.
Hands-On vs. BookishIt was almost entirely academic. There was not much emphasis on real-world applications.
Schedule Flexibility4There are many courses available, with a variety of times. Higher level courses were harder to schedule.
Academic Facilities3Many buildings are dated, but adequate. Some new construction has taken place.
Social Life5There are no dorms, so there is not much student life. Most students live with their parents.
Placement Services4The job placement services were not much more than a list of openings. Most people do not require this service.
Alumni Network3There isn't really a network. I receive occasional letters asking for donations.
