Careers In Design
Design careers are a great way for creative individuals to earn a living by combining design skills learned through training with their own artistic talents. Graphic designers are by far the most prevalent career in this category, creating all types of communication material including advertising, packaging and website designs. The scope of an Interior Designer's job is broad and includes such decisions as window location, layout of handicapped-accessible spaces and furniture selection. Industrial designers design consumer products while fashion designers create designs for all types of clothing and accessories.
Degree programs are available for each of these design specialties with bachelor level degrees being the most common. These programs teach students the specific skills that combined with their own creative talent, will prepare them for a career in their chosen field.
