"I would like to have more hands on learning. I appreciated the online flexibility so I can still make money."

Ratings are on a 1-10 scale

CharacteristicRatingComment
Would Recommend?maybeThis school is great for people who are working. This would also be a great choice for mothers.
Program Reputation5The school is more known for the online class offerings. You can tailor your classes to suit your career goals.
Program Quality2There is a biology program, but no school to job transition programs. Yet, I had the flexibility to study biochemical hazards.
Instruction7Many of the classes are offered online. This gives you the flexibility to work and go to school.
How Difficult5I knew much about the cooking temperatures from previous jobs. I learned more about salmonella and gram staining.
Hands-On vs. BookishThis college is more book oriented. The college next door is more hands on.
Schedule Flexibility10Many classes are offered online, on weekends, and after hours. This is the biggest perk of this school.
Academic Facilities4This is a community college. The students only go there for 2 years.
Social Life5Again, only a two year college. There are several major universities in the Atlanta area.
Placement ServicesThere is a technical college next door that is known for that transition. There isn't a career service area in this school.
Alumni NetworkI am not aware of any alumni association. The support system is great if you are a part of the surrounding community.
