Would Recommend?noMy current job does not require a degree and more often then not they hire out of high school. However, it does make further advances in the company possible.
Program Reputation7The students that the school produces are decent. The problem is that it's not accredited so there are places that do not recognize the degree.
Program Quality7The school got the point across. Most of the faculty were receptive to the students and their needs.
Instruction7Most of the curriculum was intro material. I had been doing tech work for ten years prior to going to school.
How Difficult2While I am sure the materials would be difficult for the average individual, I was already familiar with everything we had studied. I even tested out of several courses.
Hands-On vs. BookishIt was a solid mix of hands-on time and book time. We would spend the first half going over everything in the books and then we would do the labs.
Schedule Flexibility10My school was quick to adjust my schedule accordingly. They worked around my wedding and my job I had at the time.
Academic Facilities5The library left a lot to be desired. I think I used it the first day, and never went in again afterwards.
Social Life3During my two years at the school there were two social gatherings. There was an ice cream social for families at graduation.
Placement Services3I have attempted to utilize their job placement services in two different states and each time they have not located me a job.
Alumni Network8I receive frequent updates on offers from the school and fellow students. We have websites that allow us to maintain contact with fellow alumni.
