Would Recommend?maybeTuition is cheap and the professors are not entirely inept. They know what they are doing, but if you have any talent, you should consider applying elsewhere.
Program Reputation5My school's program was respected by community businesses, but not particularly well-known nationwide.
Program Quality5My school was simply mediocre; my professors were generally experts in Mathematics, rather than Computer Science and there were not many opportunities career-wise in my immediate community.
Instruction7My professors were trained in Mathematics and not necessarily Computer Science.
How Difficult6I double-majored in English, which allowed me to take literature classes to ease the pressure of all the programming/mathematics courses.
Hands-On vs. BookishWe used books very little; in fact, much of what we did was projects. We were expected to create our own programs, pages, etc.
Schedule Flexibility5I was offered normal, typical college classes, mostly during the weekdays. Many of my classes were in the early mornings or afternoons.
Academic Facilities5We had several different computer labs to our disposal. We were also granted special access to computers during off-hours when they were not open to other students.
Social Life6I joined a couple groups while I was at school. However, because of my work schedule, I was unable to participate as much as I wanted to.
Placement Services8I was referred to several potential internships and employers when I was only a freshman.
Alumni Network3I don't recall any networking opportunities at all.
